The Mysore Week
Experience

Experience the birthplace of Ashtanga Yoga with the freedom to make it your own.

With
Tim Feldmann &
Kino MacGregor

If you’re already travelling to India, why not make the most of your journey?

Wether you’re extending your stay after Rushikulam, arriving early before Rishikesh, or simply coming to experience Mysore on its own, we’ve created a week that combines the freedom of independent travel with the confidence of thoughtful local guidance.

One of the things that makes this week especially unique is that both Tim Feldmann and Kino MacGregor will be practising in Mysore during this time. Throughout the week we’ll come together for a few relaxed community momentsβ€”from breakfasts after practice and coconuts in Gokulam to a handful of shared experiences we’ve planned together.

THE MYSORE MAGIC

For many practitioners, Mysore is more than a destination.

For some, it becomes a place that feels like a second home over the years. People come here to practise, but what often stays with them are the moments in between.

You’re already coming to India. This is how you make the most of it β€” with the confidence of thoughtful local guidance and a small community of kindred practitioners.

The quiet streets before sunrise.
Temple bells echoing through Gokulam.
Morning practice in one of the city’s traditional shalas.
Breakfast shared with practitioners from around the world.
Fresh coconuts on the corner.
Flower markets.
Bookshops filled with yoga history.
Ayurvedic treatments.
Conversations that continue long after practice has ended.
Studying with respected scholars of philosophy, Sanskrit and chanting.
A community unlike anywhere else in the world.

There is something about the rhythm of life in Mysore that’s difficult to explain until you’ve experienced it yourself. It’s this unique atmosphereβ€”and the people who create itβ€”that keeps practitioners returning year after year.

Real Mysore

This is not a curated stage.

There is something about the rhythm of life in Mysore that’s difficult to explain until you’ve felt it yourself. It’s this unique atmosphere β€” and the people who create it β€” that keeps practitioners coming back, year after year.

Why we created The Mysore Week

Many practitioners dream of visiting Mysore, but the first trip can also feel overwhelming.

We’ll help you prepare before you arrive, recommend accommodation, assist with arranging your practice, share our favourite places, and be there whenever you need support.

The rest is yours.

Explore.
Practise.
Rest.
Discover.

Community Moments

Both Tim Feldmann and Kino MacGregor will be practising in Mysore during this week.

While everyone follows their own daily rhythm, we’ll come together for relaxed community moments β€” breakfasts after practice, fresh coconuts in Gokulam, shared meals, optional meet-ups and a few special experiences we’ve planned together.

Β

A Rhythm of Practice & Discovery

Every morning begins with practice.
From there, the day is yours to shape.

You might enjoy breakfast with fellow practitioners, visit a temple, explore the markets of Devaraja, browse the yoga bookshops of Gokulam, treat yourself to an Ayurvedic massage, or simply slow down with a fresh coconut and take in the unique rhythm of the city.

Throughout the week, we’ll also come together for a few relaxed community moments with Tim and Kino, while leaving plenty of space for you to experience Mysore in your own way.

Why we created Mysore Week ?

Many practitioners dream of visiting Mysore, but the first trip can also feel overwhelming.

Which teacher should
I practise with?

How do I get around?

Where should I stay?

What shouldn’t I miss?

We’ll help you prepare before you arrive, recommend accommodation, assist with arranging your practice, share our favourite places and local recommendations, and be there whenever you need support.
